Ideal for applications up to 140°F, this Schedule 40 PVC pressure pipe (IPS 1/8-24) offers excellent corrosion resistance and physical properties. It withstands most acids, bases, salts, and oxidants, with a pressure rating of 120-230 psi varying by size and temperature. Suitable for chemical processing, water systems, and more, it's not recommended for threading or grooving. Avoid air, compressed gases, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and aromatic solvents. Chemical resistance data is available for proper material selection.
- Uses: Transfer lines, plant service water, utility piping, and potable water lines
- Material: ASTM D-1784 compliant, Type 1, Grade 1 PVC
- Quality: Meets or exceeds ASTM D-2466 for socket-type PVC fittings
