The outer shell is made of high heat ULTEM thermoplastic which retains its protective properties fire after fire and provides greater protection against impact/penetration than fiberglass. A 6"W polycarbonate faceshield with anti-scratch coating protects your face. Helmet is lined with Prevex inner shell and features a Sure-Lock ratchet headband. Features a detachable inner crown consisting of a polyphenylene oxide inner shell and a urethane foam impact liner. Fire-resistant Nomex quick release chin strap and ear/neck protection. Reflective exterior markings and elastomer edging along helmet’s rim. Two-year warranty. Meets or exceeds the following codes/specifications: NFPA 1971-2000 as certified by the Safety Equipment Institute, US-OSHA (NFPCA 1977), and all major state helmet codes.
