Coupling nut for water supply valve float. Close water supply to toilet and drain tank. Remove water supply tube from float valve stem and shutoff valve. Place new coupling nut on water supply tube. Screw it onto float valve stem and adjust manually. Reinstall water supply tube on shutoff valve, turn on water supply and fill tank.
- Shut off water supply to toilet and drain tank
- Remove water supply tube from float valve stem and shut-off valve
- Attach new coupling nut to water supply tube
- Tighten coupling nut onto float valve stem and adjust manually
- Reattach water supply tube to shut-off valve, turn on water supply, and refill tank
