Odin’s Spear Gungnir with Vegvisir necklace | Made in Iceland

Handmade in Iceland, bought in Iceland Super cool and sturdy pendant necklace, I’m not sure if it’s made of steel or pewter or another alloy, but it feels sturdy and heavy. Length: about 23 inches / 60cm Odin's spear Gungnir, the spear that never misses, carved with the Vegvisir, the Viking compass. The Vegvisir rune, or That Which Shows the Way, is meant to act as a guide. The Huld manuscript says, "If this sign is carried, one will never loose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known." As long as this rune is present, you will arrive at your destination safely. Odin's spear is called Gungnir. In Norse mythology, Gungnir was a mighty and trusty weapon that was known for always hitting its target and for never stopping its thrust once thrown. The spear was crafted by the dwarf sons of Ívaldi, who were famous master craftsmen.
