Plastazote LD45 LED Diffusing Foam Sheets are semi-transparent and specially designed to soften and spread LED light—perfect for cosplay, props, crafts, and lighting installations. Flexible like EVA foam but slightly less dense, this material can be cut, heat-shaped, and glued using contact adhesives. Available in multiple sizes, from compact 5"x5" samples to full 20"x40" sheets, and in four thickness options: 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm. Thicker sheets provide stronger light diffusion. Painting Tip: To paint Plastazote, first heat the surface to collapse open cells using a heat-gun. Prime with a clear, flexible primer (e.g., Flexbond or Cosflex), then use transparent or airbrushed thinned paints to preserve light diffusion. Gluing Tip: For strong bonds, use contact adhesives like Barge. Apply a thin coat to both surfaces, let dry, then apply a second coat and press together once tacky. Note: Slight variations in thickness may occur due to manufacturing tolerances.
