The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece by hand, without excessive force, over its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory according to the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the Werkstück's thread does not meet the required standards (Ausschuss)
- Reference Temperature: Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at 20° Celsius
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers on-request Werkskalibrierschein. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
