Air Springs are crafted with upper and lower steel sections, joined by a replaceable, flexible nylon-reinforced neoprene element. The air spring design features multiple bellows, ensuring a maximum natural frequency of 3 Hz. Each Air Spring is engineered to withstand a burst pressure at least three times the published maximum operating pressure. All air spring systems are connected to either building control air or a supplementary air supply, and equipped with three leveling valves to maintain leveling within plus or minus 1/8" (3mm). Submittals must include natural frequency, load, and damping tests conducted by an independent lab or acoustician. The Air Springs are of type MT, and leveling valves are type LV, both manufactured by Mason Industries, Inc.
