SKF U 205 Thrust Ball Bearing Seating Washer, Used With 53205 or 54205 Thrust Bearing, Metric, 36mm Bore, 50mm OD, 5.5mm Width

This SKF U2-series thrust ball bearing seating washer is designed for use with SKF 532-and 542-series thrust ball bearings with sphered housing washers. The seating washer, in conjunction with the sphered housing washer, compensates for initial static angular misalignments between the support surfaces on the shaft and in the housing in applications subject to shaft deflections or misalignments. The washer is made of through-hardened carbon-chromium steel for durability, heat tolerance, and resistance to deformity under heavy loads. This seating washer is manufactured to PN (normal) tolerances in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 199:1997, and it is suitable for use in various applications including machine tool drive shafts, automotive steering gears and clutches, rotary tables, outboard motor propellers, and household appliances. Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed.
