Before conducting the test, the UC9800S series performs a test lead contact check. If broken wires or poor contact are detected, the instrument will trigger an alarm displaying "CHECK FAIL" (Poor Test Lead Connection) and abort the test. If the connection is verified, the instrument will proceed with the subsequent withstanding voltage test.
