This pretty little girl is a vintage 8" Tiny Betsy McCall American Character doll from the 1950s, dressed….Preowned…This fashion doll is made of hard plastic and is part of the Betsy McCall Collection franchise.
I do not know if the dress and panties are original to her. Betsy is wearing a cute light peachy frilly dress, panties, white tights and black shoes.
I am also including 4 more pairs of new shoes for this cutie and the stand. The last picture should be the circular MacCall Corp stamp…my iPad had trouble with it.
She does need some bathing. Her blue eyes need assistance opening and closing, arms are tight, head turns well, but her legs are loose. There is a split in the crotch area apparently common for these dolls. Her hair is full and has the original barrettes.
She is in good shape for her age and is a nostalgic piece for collectors of vintage dolls and fans of the Betsy McCall character.
