• Zapling Bygone is a twisted metroidvania where you embody the spirit of a hive and you will have to use the skull of your enemies to absorb their consciousness and steal their abilities in order to survive.
• Find mutations that change the course of the game, that alter and improve your abilities, collect skull fragments that highlight disappeared civilizations. Trade plasma for old keys, forgotten secrets, and strange paintings.
• Reconstruct the events that took place on a post-apocalyptic alien planet, and use these secrets to fight a fragment of your own hive.
• Explore the world: A vast, dangerous and interconnected world awaits you with only you and your skulls for company. Reveal each of the 6 biomes with its own enemies, bosses, and story, collecting the skulls of those who lived in these places.
• COLLECT THE COMIC PIECES: Wearing the skulls of your enemies, you will access their memories and unlock comic boards depicting the major events of their lives. Skulls will even be able to talk to you throughout your adventure.
